JAB Holding Company also owns Caribou Coffee and has a controlling stake in Peet’s Coffee and Tea.

This is heresy in some quarters, but I don’t care for Krispy Kreme; however, Krispy Kreme, fresh from the fryer, is a revelation.

JAB Holding Company is buying Krispy Kreme Doughnuts for $21 a share, or about $1.35 billion.
